Our Sheriff of the Year celebration was held in October 2025! Each year since 2013, we have hosted a ceremony and luncheon for Georgia Sheriffs and to honor the Sheriff of the Year. Due to limited seating, this event is invitation only.
This year was a success and we named another Georgia Sheriff of the Year Jud Smith from Barrow County.
